AA Sport boss Mark Adu Amofah donates sports equipments to US Community based N Zone Sports for All

As part of his avowed commitment towards contributing to football, former player of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, Mark Adu Amofah has donated sports equipments to a community-based and Veteran Owned sports league for kids’ agency, N Zone Sports for All American in Fayetteville, North Carolina in the United States of America.

The items included, sets of jerseys, soccer balls, shin guards, gloves, cones and other assorted sports equipments.

Adu Amofah currently serves in the US Army and doubles as the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Unique Sports Talents Worldwide said, the presentation formed part of his contribution to support grassroot level.

“The donation is my contribution to the game here in the US.It is my widow’s mite aimed at pepping the kids up to love soccer” He told myLYBnews.com

I feel obliged to give them the little my sports consortium can offer to keep the league going.

This is the beginning of greater things by way of my support to the game. In face my focus among others is to support young and budding talents in Ghana as well, and so pretty soon we will be in Ghana to make some donations to deprived communities where soccer talents abound” He said.

The player, who also owns a sports-related Non-governmental Organization here in the US, A.A Sports International, called on former footballers who can afford to give back to the game to encourage young players to continue from where they left off.

Adu Amofah started his professional football career with Liberty Professionals in Ghana, before joining Real Sportive and Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC. He also played for the U-20 and U-23 of Ghana.

He is a certified FIFA intermediary and a licensed youth coach in the US.

Receiving the items on behalf of N Zone Sports All American, Mr. Michael Cruz, who was full of excitement, expressed profound joy at the gesture.
“We are so elated at your kind gesture. This is awesome; it would go a long way to help what we do here for these amazing kids”, he said.

He praised Adu Amofah for his thoughtfulness and kindheartedness- assuring that the kids will benefit from his gesture.
